(Rom 12:17- 21, KJV) Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1.The law of retribution is repealed. (17)

•God's math is “Evil for evil does not equal good.”

•God's sociology - This sets us apart from everyone else.

2.Right living replaces it – Do your best to live in peace. (18)

•Question #1 – What is within my power?

•Question #2 – Have I limited question #1?

3.Revenge is rejected. (19)

•It is not your responsibility. You are relieved.

•It is not your right.

•You are not good at it. You will mess it up.

4.Reaction is replaced by proactive response-driven living. (20)

•Goodness is always your choice.

•Grace is always your motivation.

5.Reach for the “upper hand.” (21)

•It places you in the winner's circle.

•It places you in the center of God's will.
