The Quiet Day

 


Saturday is the quiet day.

Nothing moves.

Nothing resolves.

Jeremiah says:

“I am in darkness…
My prayers feel unheard…”

And then:

“call to mind… and therefore I have hope.”

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.

Even here.

Even now.
